Job Description This role is responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. The position determines coverage, liability, and damages, and adjusts and negotiates claims within established authority levels. The role also includes handling injury claims within our Initial Handler Bodily Injury (IHBI) Casualty Unit.

We are seeking an experienced Unrepresented Bodily Injury Consultant who is preferably located within the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated claims professional with strong time management skills and the ability to successfully manage a high-volume caseload while working independently. E ffectively evaluate liability, investigate coverage, and drive claims to resolution. Successful candidates will have experience handling casualty injury claims, conducting thorough coverage investigations, negotiating settlements, and maintaining full ownership of claims throughout the life cycle.

Experience managing unrepresented bodily injury claims in Texas and Louisiana is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to navigate complex claim scenarios while delivering a positive customer experience and achieving quality claim outcomes.

Key Responsibilities • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases • Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department • Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority • For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims • Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills

Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties.

As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment.
