About this role

The UMB Private Wealth Trust Sales Advisor   (PWTSA)   is responsible for   building and managing client relationships with Private Wealth’s ultra-high net worth Trust market segment .    The PWTSA will grow and service an existing book of clients including many of PWM’s high-profile and more complex client relationships,   in particular   those requiring complex trust administration .   

This role will   identify   opportunities in the ultra-high net worth market segment to develop centers-of-influence (both internal and external) as resources and develop networks with other lines of business to provide financial solutions for clients. The PWTSA will ensure the delivery of the unparalleled customer experience (TUCE) to our most   highly-complex   and high-value client’s Trust and Investment Management accounts.    

How  you’ll  spend your time:    

• You will s ource and develop high-net-worth client relationships through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.  

• You will s teer administration of Client’s wealth and trust accounts by being   trusted   partner .  

• You will l ead high performance service delivery to clients by coordinating team delivering services .  

• You will m anage and expand high-profile client relationships .  

• You will p rovide proactive solution-oriented planning for clients and coordination of wealth strategy planning goals and   objectives .  

• You will l ead a proactive, high-touch communication plan for all clients .  

• You will p rovide wealth   management   subject matter   expertise .  

• You will   p articipate   in and attend meetings and functions as assigned .  

• You will c reate and lead presentations to external and internal COIs on estate planning techniques for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  

• You will serve as the primary driver of new trust relationships for the market.  

• You will coordinate and assign the team members of new trust   relationships   transitioning those accounts to those team members.  

• Other duties as assigned .

• You   possess   a   Bachelor’s   degree .  

• You have   10+ years’ experience in wealth management for HNW and UHNW clients , o r combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.  

• You have e xperience in Complex Trust Administration .  

• You understand   Business Development & COI Development .  

• You   p ossess   Leadership Skills .  

• You have   a h igh level   of emotional intelligence .  

• You   demonstrate   e xcellent communication and presentation skills .  

• You are an e xpert on wealth management issues pertinent to UHNW families .  

• You   have good   relation ship management skills .  

• You have the a bility to address client concerns and needs .  

• You d emonstrate understanding of investment strategies   utilized   by UHNW clients .  

• You   d emonstrate   understanding of   tax   challenges of UHNW clients .  

• You show f amiliarity with wealth management products and estate planning solutions, including trusts and administration, member and manager managed LLCs and Limited Partnerships, and asset management .  

• You   d emonstrate   extensive knowledge of Trust and Bank products and services (i.e., investments, insurance, brokerage, private banking, retirement planning) .  

• You   have the a bility to   identify   and find solutions for unique assets of UHNW client   including,   commercial properties, LLCs, oil and gas, alternative energy,   ranch   and farm properties .

Bonus points   if ...  

• You have o ne or more of the following credentials :  MBA , CFA, CFP®, CPA, CTFA, or JD .  

• You have s upervisory or team leadership experience .  

• You have   5+ years in   demonstrated   sales position .  

• You are a ctive in community and professional organizations; considered a leader in the community.  

• You have e xperience drafting complex estate plans for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  

Work Environment  

Hybrid. Travel as needed.  

Supervision/Management :  No direct management responsibilities

 Compensation Ranges: $141,354 - $172,766

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
