The Training & Education Specialist – Pelvic Health is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and executing healthcare professional (HCP) education programs supporting Medtronic’s Pelvic Health therapies and neuromodulation portfolio. This role will support educational strategies designed to build HCP knowledge, procedural competency, confidence, and appropriate adoption of Pelvic Health therapies, including Sacral Neuromodulation (SNM), InterStim™ therapy, and Implantable Tibial Neuromodulation (ITNM)/Altaviva™ therapy.

The Training & Education Specialist partners closely with Medical Education, Physician Relations, Marketing, Commercial, Clinical, and other cross-functional teams to translate therapy and business priorities into meaningful educational experiences for physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role includes management of regional and national educational programs, development and engagement of physician faculty, coordination of hands-on and procedural training, and continuous evaluation of educational effectiveness and unmet learning needs. This position operates as an individual contributor who may lead training-related projects, support various operational activities for the team, and collaborate across functions to advance the Pelvic Health education strategy.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. • Plan, develop, coordinate, and execute HCP education programs supporting Pelvic Health therapies and technologies.

• Support educational pathways that advance physicians from therapy awareness and procedural understanding through hands-on competency, adoption, continued proficiency, and advocacy.

• Develop and execute educational programs across multiple formats, including hands-on labs, regional training programs, peer-to-peer education, workshops, demonstrations, virtual education, and hybrid learning experiences.

• Partner with Medical Education, Physician Relations, Marketing, Commercial, Clinical, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business and therapy strategies into effective educational programs.

• Develop course content, agendas, materials, procedural resources, and educational tools that support defined learning objectives.

• Continuously evaluate and update educational content to reflect evolving technologies, clinical practices, product launches, procedural techniques, and identified learner needs.

• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key faculty, peer educators, proctors, and clinical experts across Pelvic Health specialties.

• Analyze program participation, learner feedback, educational outcomes, and other relevant metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness and identify future educational opportunities.

• Identify and pilot innovative educational approaches and technologies that enhance learner engagement, procedural understanding, hands-on experience, and measurement of educational effectiveness.

• Partner with Commercial teams to identify appropriate educational needs within markets while maintaining appropriate separation between commercial activities and HCP education.

• Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to ensure educational programs comply with Medtronic policies, applicable regulations, and local governing requirements and are appropriately documented.

• Manage assigned program budgets and resources while supporting efficient utilization of Training & Education investments.

• Travel of up to 40% may be required.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience (OR Associate's Degree with 4+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 2+ years experience).

Nice to Have • Bachelor's Degree

• Experience developing, coordinating, and/or delivering technical, procedural, or clinical education programs for healthcare professionals.

• Experience working within medical device, healthcare, or clinical environments.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and support clinician education.

• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with physicians, faculty, and internal stakeholders.

• Experience within Pelvic Health, Urology, Urogynecology, Colorectal, Women’
