Job Description: Has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for completing work assignments in the sterile process department. Education: ▪Required: Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
Experience: ▪ No prior experience required Skills: ▪ Excellent Communication Skills ▪ Working knowledge of computers ▪ Ability to organize instrument sets ▪ Able to pass a written proficiency review. ▪ Organized and self-motivated with an attention to detail. Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Preferred: CRCST or CBSPD (Required if no Surgical Technology Degree)
