AGE Solutions is looking for a Task Manager, responsible for leading and overseeing all contract operations to ensure work is performed efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract requirements. This role supervises assigned personnel, manages contract performance, ensures timely and accurate submission of deliverables, and serves as the primary point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The Task Manager / Contract Manager communicates project status, risks, schedule changes, service improvements, and security events while promoting operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and successful contract execution.
Responsibilities Include:
• Provide overall leadership, management, and oversight of contract operations to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contractual requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel to ensure quality performance and mission success.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, staffing, and deliverables to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare, review, and submit all required contract deliverables, including Monthly Progress Reports, in accordance with contract requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all contract-related matters.
• Communicate contract status, project progress, risks, issues, schedule changes, major accomplishments, service improvements, and security events to Government stakeholders.
• Track contract performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address performance or compliance issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, DoD, cybersecurity, and organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and Government personnel to ensure successful execution of contract objectives.
• Support staffing, resource planning, and workload management to meet contract requirements.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused work environment while promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of team lead, management, project management, or contract management experience, OR
• Associate's degree in any discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of team lead, management, project management, or contract management experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing projects, contracts, or technical teams, preferably within a Federal Government or DoD environment.
Certifications:
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
Clearance:
• Must have and maintain a current DoD Secret clearance.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and managing technical or operational teams.
• Experience managing contract performance, project schedules, milestones, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of Federal Government contracting practices, Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) engagement.
• Ability to prepare, review, and submit technical and administrative deliverables, including status reports and Monthly Progress Reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with Government customers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience identifying project risks, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous process improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity, information assurance, and applicable Federal regulations and policies.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, accountability, and a customer-focused approach while ensuring successful contract execution and mission accomplishment.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meet contractual deadlines, work occasional extended hours when mission requirements dictate, and maintain the required security clearance and access to Government facilities.
Location:
• This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment located in Arlington, VA supporting Government and contractor operations.
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
• The role requires extensive use of computers and standard office equipment, prolonged periods of sitting, and the ability to communicate effectively with Government personnel, contractors, and team members.
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials up to 25 pounds may be required, along with periodic travel to Government facilities or customer sites.
The projected salary range for this position is $125,000+ annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including years of relevant experience, active security clearance level, certifications, technical skillset
