As a system reliablity and support lead within PNC's technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA - Cleveland, OH - Denver, CO- Dallas, TX - Birmingham AL or Phoenix AZ

This position has hours of Monday-Friday - 11AM-8PM EST or 330-1130EST and on call responsibilities

-Monitor and support critical production applications utilizing OpenShift, Oracle, Java, MongoDB, and SQL, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure application stability and performance. -Serve as the primary owner for production incidents, leveraging tools such as Dynatrace and ServiceNow to drive issue resolution from initial detection through closure. -Design, implement, and enhance automated monitoring and operational processes using Ansible and other enterprise automation tools to improve system reliability and efficiency. -Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution activities to ensure application resiliency and business continuity across supported platforms. -Partner with development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to onboard new applications and maintain operational readiness within a complex production environment. -Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call support schedule, including weekend and after-hours coverage for production releases, system maintenance, and critical issue resolution. -Provide technical leadership and mentorship to support team members while driving best practices in application monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement.

Job Description • Leads and participates in the monitoring, maintenance, support and modernization of systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards. • Performs maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades. Coordinates with delivery teams to ensure changes are implemented in order to maintain a stable production environment. • Incident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Analyze and identify root cause of incidents. Gathers information and reports out on design, reliability, maintenance problems and bugs. • Monitors systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends. Implements methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for monitoring software reliability and resolving incidents. • Educates and coaches more junior staff to ensures in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications. • Leads application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards.

Base Salary: $75,000.00 – $137,500.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
