Internship Overview / Summary : • This role requires a curious and motivated intern to join our Consumer and Commercial Banking Technology team as a Technology Application Analyst. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting and enhancing banking applications that serve retail and business customers. You will work alongside experienced application analysts and system engineers to learn how technology drives operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance in financial services.

Internship Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist in documenting application workflows, system functional requirements and system architecture for consumer and commercial banking platforms focusing on lending origination, CRM, incentive management, loan operation & credit risk system. • Shadow season analysts during application testing, configuration, and deployment activities. • Help monitor application performance and report issues to the support team. • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on technology improvements. • Support data gathering and analysis for small-scale projects or enhancements. • Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques under supervision. • Contribute to documentation efforts including system use cases, user guides, support procedures, and training materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications • Internship Required Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field. • Strong interest in financial services, FinTech and technology. • Basic understanding of software applications lifecycle management and data concepts. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a secure, regulated environment with attention to data privacy and compliance.

• Internship Required Soft Skills: • Strong communication skills  – able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely. • Team collaboration  – comfortable working in cross-functional teams and contributing to group problem-solving. • Adaptability  – open to learning new tools, methods, and responding to changing project requirements. • Attention to detail  – Assist in reviewing test cases and identifying gaps in documentation. • Time management  – able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Ethical mindset  – understands the importance of fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI applications, especially in financial services.

Preferred Qualifications: • Exposure to SQL, data analysis, or basic programming through coursework or personal projects. • Knowledge of with relational databases. • Familiarity with banking concepts such as deposits, loans, or digital banking • Experience with cloud and/or on-premises deployment tools or enterprise IT environments. • Previous internship or academic project experience system support, application development or data analytics.

Opportunities are based on assigned department, possible examples include organizational structures, business etiquette, interpersonal/conflict resolution/sales/negotiation skills, industry information, products and services and functional responsibilities for various Bank departments.

Analyze: Improve the quality of decision making by doing appropriate and thorough analysis. Potential examples are based on the department assigned but can include pricing decisions, financial analysis, qualitative analysis, credit risk mitigation, identifying borrowing needs, project timelines and marketing plans.

Communicate well: Deliver information in a clear, logical and effective manner. Convey information both in writing and orally.
