  Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive screenings, assessments, and intake evaluations to identify treatment needs and recovery goals • Develop individualized treatment plans that support long-term recovery and personal success • Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based and recovery-oriented treatment approaches • Support clients in identifying barriers, developing coping skills, managing triggers, and building healthy recovery strategies • Facilitate therapeutic groups and educational sessions that promote recovery, wellness, and relapse prevention • Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical staffing, and case consultations to coordinate effective care • Assist clients with transitions of care, discharge planning, and ongoing recovery support services • Respond appropriately to crisis situations and provide intervention when necessary • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation • Build strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and recovery support organizations • Stay current on evidence-based treatment practices, regulatory requirements, and professional standards

  Qualifications: Hold credentials as a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB), including one of the following: • • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor ( CADC ) • • Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor ( CRADC ) • • Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor ( CRAADC ) • • Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional ( CCJP ) • • Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor-Provisional ( RADC-P ) • • Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor ( RADC ) • • Co-Occurring Disorder Professional ( CCDP ) • • Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate ( CCDP-D )  

OR...   Hold credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB), including: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a behavioral health, human services, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field and qualified to provide services within scope of practice • Licensed Addictions Counselor ( LAC ) • Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor ( LCAC )

Additional Qualifications: • Experience providing substance use disorder, behavioral health, recovery support, or counseling services preferred • Experience facilitating individual counseling, group counseling, psychoeducation, or recovery-focused services preferred • Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, recovery principles, and evidence-based treatment approaches preferred • Strong communication, rapport-building, documentation, and case management skills • Willingness to obtain licensure and/or credentialing in additional states as required by the organization • Comfortable providing telehealth services to individuals served by the organization • Ability to effectively manage a caseload while maintaining quality clinical care and documentation standards • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and colla
