Broad Function:     Leads team via PM Process map and responsible for day-to-day program tasking. Responsible for meeting Program customer requirements, cost goals, and schedule, as well as developing/generating follow-on business. Provides direction, leadership and development for assigned teams.   Customer Point of Contact and can manage multiple projects and/or a high complex program for Tier 1 customers.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Management & Program Execution • Utilizes & follows standard project scheduling and planning tools in accordance with TTM Program Management processes, TTM ISO-9002, & AS9100 requirements. • Develops high-level plans to meet both project and product cost targets.  Reports progress to appropriate management levels. • Responsible for supporting assigned goals and objectives. These include, but are not limited to market, product, technology, customer penetration, revenue growth and profit. • Responsible for meeting assigned customer and program booking, shipment, and financial performance goals; regularly reports to management on progress and performance. • Responsible for the implementation of assigned new product development and product / program production readiness. • Participates in or leads project meetings and design reviews, and tracks progress of day-to-day commitments • Monitors program/project progress vs. staffing plan and reports any resource constraints. • Make recommendations on changes or workarounds. • Monitors progress and effectiveness on a regular basis and ensures corrective actions are taken as required. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and product quality. • Is responsible for ensuring all known or potential risks are identified and mitigation and retirement activities are incorporated into the project plan.  Incorporates the documented project management process into all projects. • Responsible for the accuracy/validity of cost models, and sets costs targets, management reserves are established and implemented. Responsible for assigned program commitments and financial objectives are obtained. • Responsible for ensuring future costs and pricing meets internal margin demands. • Responsible for production cost and pricing targets, GM and overall financial objectives.

Team Leadership • Provides mentorship in the development of Project Management personnel by providing coaching, guidance, and training as assigned or required.  • Demonstrates an ability to lead and achieve results through others, leveraging each member’s strengths. • Possesses strong influencing skills to effectively delegate tasks to the project team and support functions. • Takes personal responsibility for success & always steps up to take the lead. • Able to lead program teams and continually reassess projects against goals and make necessary changes. • Demonstrates the ability to motivate their team to achieve optimal results. Leverages each member's strengths and provides recognition of accomplishments to maximize overall results. • Able to juggle multiple complex tasks and independently make quality decisions without negative impact on others. • Highly effective delegation skills: knows what, when and who to delegate to and communicates effectively to all levels in the organization. • Successfully negotiates for internal resources and priorities with positive results. • Successfully demonstrates ability to independently guide teams through complex issues. Identifies barriers and involves appropriate resources to resolve issues. • Capable of developing and executing effective complex plans; identifying obstacles and issues and communicating to get things resolved. • Ability to lead team, in collaboration with Quality Engineering, through structured problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis resulting in correct identification and resolution of the root cause. • Strong understanding of the product's operation and key performance parameters, as well as the processes and materials used to manufacture responsible products. Basic understanding of the customer's application and key performance parameters.  • Pursues learning opportunities to expand related knowledge and understanding.  Willing to try new things and take risks to expand understanding. • Demonstrate ability to facilitate technical reviews of the products and understand the tradeoffs in conjunction with Engineering/PEM. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

Communication • Able to effectively convey pertinent information verbally and in writing to project team and others in a constructive manner. • Has strong listening skills, the ability to run effective meetings, and efficiently convey pertinent information to the project team and others. • Uses his/her own and others' expertise to make effective and timely decisions.  Gathers key information and knows when to escalate problems. • Resolves or escalates issues in a timely manner; often involves manager and project team. • Has effective written, oral and presentation skills.
