Job Summary We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and advance our Device Security solution — an AI-first solution that discovers, assesses, and protects every managed, unmanaged, and IoT/OT device in organizations. You'll own product areas across our key pillars and drive cross-functional delivery from concept to launch.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in IoT/OT Security, Vulnerability Management, Network Security (NGFWs, NAC), Endpoint/EDR, or CTEM/CAASM/ASPM, — with a systems mindset, comfort in engineering-level discussions, and ability to lead customer-facing presentations. The nearterm roadmap is explicitly agentic; fluency in autonomous AI workflows as a product — not just tooling — is a real differentiator.
Success in this role demands agility, excellent time management, and the ability to thrive in Palo Alto Networks’ fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities • Define and communicate product strategy and roadmap aligned to business goals and market trends.
• Translate customer needs into clear business and functional requirements across the portfolio.
• Partner with UX to craft intuitive workflows and dashboards that drive engagement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and GTM throughout the product lifecycle to deliver high-quality releases.
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer insights, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Lead go-to-market readiness with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Serve as voice of the customer — validate features, test builds, guide post-launch iterations.
• Stay ahead of managed/unmanaged device and IoT/OT security trends through research and competitive analysis.
• Evangelize Device Security's AI capabilities — ML-based discovery, LLM enrichment, multi-factor risk scoring — to partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Own the roadmap areas — turning autonomous AI capabilities into trustworthy product experiences. Ground features in customer use cases and measurable outcomes.
• Drive Device Security expansion — coordinating across Business Units, Product, IT, NPI, and partner teams.
• Track adoption metrics; partner with CS and GTM to convert deployments into realized security value.
• Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
• Translate customer needs and technical considerations into clear business and functional requirements across the product portfolio. Lead platform scale initiatives.
• Own the agentic security roadmap — define requirements for the Agentic actions on our NetSec and 3rd party systems, translate autonomous AI capabilities into concrete product experiences customers can trust and act on.
• Partner with UX to craft intuitive user experiences, focusing on workflows and dashboards that drive engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to launch—to deliver high-quality releases.
• Prioritize product initiatives based on customer insights, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Lead go-to-market readiness by working closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
• Serve as the voice of the customer by validating features, testing builds, and guiding post-launch iterations.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in the Managed/Unmanaged Device and OT/IoT security landscape through ongoing research and competitive analysis.
• Act as a product evangelist for Device Security, articulating how our AI-first platform — including ML-based device discovery, LLM-enriched asset profiling, multi-factor risk scoring, crowdsourced behavioral baselines and native security enforcement and protections — delivers outcomes competitors cannot match.
Qualifications Required Qualifications • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or business discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity — IoT/OT, Vulnerability Management, Network Security, Endpoint/EDR, CTEM/CAASM/ASPM or AEV — with at least 4 years in Product Management in a B2B SaaS or security platform environment.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable product deliverables with world-class engineering teams.
• Creative thinker with strong market differentiation instincts and a track record of driving innovation.
• Demonstrated success collaborating across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and GTM to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to build alignment across diverse teams and partners.
• Skilled at tracking cross-team deliverables, assessing risk, and managing timelines.
