A Day in the Life The Legal function provides strategic legal, regulatory, compliance, and risk management support across the enterprise.

The Senior Paralegal - Employment & Government Investigations provides advanced legal, operational, and litigation support to both the Government Investigations and Employment Law legal teams. This role serves as a dedicated resource across these practice areas, with time and responsibilities allocated between supporting government investigations, regulatory inquiries, labor and employment matters, subpoenas, and complex litigation.

Acting as a key partner to internal and external legal counsel, business leaders, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Compliance, e-Discovery teams, and government agencies, this role supports legal matters from intake through resolution.

This role will manage legal holds, document preservation and production, witness interviews and preparation, subpoena responses, employment-related investigations and litigation, and records management activities.

This position is based onsite at OHQ and requires minimal travel.                     The Senior Paralegal, Employment & Government Investigations serves as a legal resource supporting government investigations, employment law matters, litigation, regulatory inquiries, subpoenas, and related legal operations activities. This role partners with attorneys and cross-functional stakeholders to manage legal processes, coordinate investigations, support e-Discovery activities, and help ensure timely and effective resolution of legal matters.

Primary Responsibilities • Coordinate legal support activities for government investigations, regulatory inquiries, subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and employment-related matters.

• Administer legal hold processes and support document preservation, collection, review, production, and records management activities.

• Partner with internal and external legal counsel to manage investigation workflows, track case progress, and support matter strategy execution.

• Conduct fact gathering and coordinate outreach with employees, business stakeholders, Human Resources, Compliance, and Employee Relations teams.

• Support witness interviews, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and other litigation-related activities.

• Manage case files, matter tracking systems, status reporting, and legal documentation throughout the lifecycle of legal matters.

• Coordinate with e-Discovery, forensics, records management, and legal technology teams to support investigations and litigation.

• Review and respond to third-party legal requests, including document collection, production coordination, and stakeholder communications.

Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate and 4+ years of relevant paralegal, legal operations, litigation support, employment law, government investigations, regulatory, or related legal experience; OR an advanced degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting employment litigation, workplace investigations, labor and employment law matters, and employee relations investigations.

• Experience with e-Discovery platforms, including Relativity.

• Experience working with outside counsel, government agencies, Human Resources, Compliance, and business leaders.

• Experience supporting legal matters within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries.

• Demonstrated project management experience involving multiple concurrent legal matters and deadlines.

• Experience with e-Discovery platforms, including Relativity.

• Experience working with outside counsel, government agencies, Human Resources, Compliance, and business leaders.

• Experience supporting legal matters within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries.

• Demonstrated project management experience involving multiple concurrent legal matters and deadlines.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
