The Department of Talent & Organizational Development is currently seeking a full-time Sr. Organizational Development & Change Consultant 1 to work on site in Miami. The Senior Organizational Development & Change Consultant 1 serves as an internal consultant partnering with leaders, HR Business Partners, healthcare executives, and academic leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, team performance, workforce engagement, and change adoption.   The Consultant independently leads organizational development, organizational effectiveness, and change management engagements at the department, division, and business-unit levels. This role diagnoses organizational challenges,   facilitates   leadership and team interventions, coaches leaders, and develops practical solutions that align people, structure, culture, and strategy.  

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS   • Serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR Business Partners   regarding   organizational effectiveness, change management, team effectiveness, and leadership challenges.  

• Leads organizational effectiveness engagements focused on organizational performance, team effectiveness, leadership alignment, culture, workforce effectiveness, and employee engagement.  

• Conducts organizational diagnostics using interviews, focus groups, assessments, workforce analytics, and other methodologies to   identify   organizational issues and opportunities.  

• Facilitates leadership teams through interventions focused on accountability, decision-making, collaboration, communication, and strategic execution.  

• Conducts organization design analyses, including evaluation of structures, reporting relationships, spans and layers, role clarity, governance, and workforce alignment.  

• Provides coaching to managers, directors, and emerging senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability and change leadership effectiveness.  

• Develops and implements change management strategies and adoption plans for organizational initiatives and transformation efforts.  

• Applies workforce and organizational analytics to   identify   trends and develop data-informed recommendations.  

• Designs and   facilitates   workshops, retreats, team interventions, and organizational effectiveness sessions.  

• Develops organizational development and change management frameworks, tools, and resources that support enterprise consistency.  

• Partners with Talent & Organizational Development colleagues to align organizational interventions with leadership development, engagement, succession, and culture strategies.  

QUALIFICATIONS   • Bachelor's   degree   required . Master's degree preferred.  

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Consulting, Human Resources, or related discipline.  

• Preferred certifications include   Prosci , coaching certifications, organizational development certifications, and assessment certifications.

• Facilitation & Coaching: Strong group facilitation and individual coaching skills to support leadership development.

• Change Leadership and Management: Working knowledge of structured methodologies to support successful adoption of change.

• Collaboration: Ability to build relationships and partner effectively across diverse stakeholders.

• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to shifting organizational priorities and needs.

Department Specific Functions 1.      Supports the Talent & Organizational Development team in executing university-wide initiatives related to engagement, leadership, and cultural transformation. 2.      Partners with HR colleagues to ensure OD and change strategies are aligned with enterprise goals and HR strategic priorities. 3.      Provides consultative support for special projects and pilot programs related to workforce development. 4.      Assists in developing OD resources, templates, and communication materials to enhance program delivery and visibility.
