About this role

Antora Energy delivers affordable, reliable energy to industry, data centers, and the grid. Our thermal batteries turn low-cost electricity into always-on heat and power, without supply-constrained critical minerals or multi-year construction timelines.

We are growing our company with people who put team and mission first, value connection through laughter and joy, and work with humility and openness. We are committed to building a diverse, passionate, and creative team dedicated to a future powered by abundant, clean, low-cost energy.

Position Summary

As a Sr. Material Planner, you will be the hands-on owner of day-to-day material readiness—from maintaining MRP data integrity to coordinating with suppliers and supporting the production floor in real time. Your accuracy and sense of urgency will keep our master production schedule on track and our thermal-battery builds flowing. At the senior level, you will also shape planning processes, mentor team members, and drive cross-functional improvement initiatives that scale with our growth. You will report to the Material Planning Manager and collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Procurement teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• MRP Ownership & Data Integrity

• Serve as the primary user of the company’s MRP/ERP system (NetSuite).

• Maintain core MRP parameters: part ownership, lead times, standard cost, safety stock, UoM, demand plans, etc.

• Troubleshoot inaccurate PO suggestions or shortage signals and correct root-cause data issues.

• Supplier Follow-up & Shortage Mitigation

• Build trust and communication channels with key suppliers.

• Execute and continuously improve the SOP for shortage escalation and recovery (supplier constraint, raw-material, logistics, quality, packaging, etc.).

• Track open orders, expedite or defer as needed, and provide clear shortage alarm and ETAs to stakeholders.

• Production & Warehouse Support

• Act as first responder to physical material shortages on the line; coordinate quick and corrective actions.

• Build strong relationships with Production, Warehouse, and Engineering; become familiar with product BOMs and shop-floor workflows.

• Lead proactive initiatives—kitting audits, line-side min/max reviews, cycle-count support—to improve material readiness.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Build and own dashboards that track inventory health, supplier on-time delivery (OTD), BOM cost accuracy, and shortage trends.

• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and produce clear process-flow documentation.

• Turn data insights into actionable, fact-based decisions that improve planning performance and reduce risk.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4+ years in material planning, production planning, or purchasing in a manufacturing environment, with progressively increasing scope and autonomy.

• Hands-on experience with an integrated MRP/ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

• Solid understanding of BOM structures, lead-time logic, and basic inventory-control concepts.

• Proven ability to build supplier relationships and negotiate delivery commitments.

• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfort with SQL or BI tools is a plus.

• Team-first mindset, you win when the line runs and your teammates succeed.

• Growth-oriented, eager to learn, share knowledge, and iterate on processes.

• Clear communicator—able to translate data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Qualifications Desired

• Experience with NetSuite (or similar), SQL/BI tools, and costed BOMs/standard cost maintenance.

• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification; Lean/Continuous Improvement exposure.

• Familiarity with warehouse processes, receiving, kitting, replenishment and cycle counting.

• Experience mentoring or onboarding junior planners or buyers.

• Track record of building or optimizing planning processes in a high-growth or scaling environment.
