At T-Mobile, we don’t just participate in industry conversations — we shape them.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Communications to lead strategic market intelligence and narrative efforts that strengthen T-Mobile’s reputation and reinforce our leadership across wireless, broadband, technology, and customer experience.

This role sits at the intersection of communications strategy, market intelligence, media relations, and storytelling. The successful candidate will monitor industry developments, market activity, and emerging trends, translating complex information into communications strategies that advance business priorities and reinforce T-Mobile’s position as an industry leader.

This is not a traditional PR role. Success requires equal parts strategist, storyteller, analyst, and operator. You’ll connect dots others don’t see, identify opportunities before they become obvious, and help shape conversations around some of the most important topics affecting our industry. You won’t simply react to what’s happening around you — you’ll anticipate what’s next.

This role operates across two speeds — building long-term narrative strategies while staying ready to move quickly when the moment calls for it, from months-long communications programs to same-day responses to breaking industry developments. You’ll partner closely with teams across Communications, Marketing, Social, Social Insights, Product, Network, Legal, Government Affairs, Care, and executive leadership to uncover insights, develop narratives, create compelling stories, and ensure T-Mobile’s voice is present in the moments and conversations that matter most.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office, consistent with company policy. This position may be located in Bellevue, WA.

This role sits within T-Mobile’s Corporate Communication, Reputation and Public Affairs team and will be part of an on-call team, so some work outside standard business hours may be required. While the majority of work occurs during normal business hours, flexibility supports a team that operates in a fast-moving, always-on environment.

Responsibilities: Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights • Monitor industry trends, market developments, customer issues, regulatory activity, technology innovation, and other external factors that may create communications opportunities or risks. • Translate complex developments into actionable insights, recommendations, executive briefings, and communications strategies. • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, trackers, and intelligence products that inform communications planning and decision-making. • Identify emerging themes, narratives, and opportunities before they become widely recognized.

Strategic Narrative Development • Develop messaging frameworks and narrative strategies that reinforce T-Mobile’s leadership, differentiation, innovation, and customer-first approach. • Identify opportunities to shape industry conversations and reframe narratives in ways that highlight T-Mobile’s strengths and perspective. • Develop counter-narrative strategies that address misinformation, correct the record, and ensure accurate information reaches key audiences. • Partner across the organization to ensure communications efforts are aligned, consistent, and impactful. • Create compelling messaging that simplifies complex topics and resonates with diverse audiences.

Rapid Storytelling & Media Influence • Lead proactive communications initiatives tied to industry developments, market trends, research, and emerging news. • Develop story packages, executive messaging, thought leadership content, talking points, presentations, media materials, and other communications assets. • Identify opportunities to elevate T-Mobile’s perspective through earned media, executive visibility, industry conversations, and third-party engagement. • Develop and execute creative, campaign-style communications programs that generate attention, shape narratives, and drive earned coverage from concept through execution. • Build and maintain strong relationships with reporters, analysts, influencers, and other external stakeholders.

Strategic Influence & External Engagement • Build and maintain strong relationships across media, industry, analyst, policy, and influencer communities. • Identify opportunities to elevate credible external perspectives and foster informed conversations around issues important to customers and the industry. • Provide strategic counsel on complex or sensitive external engagements, helping ensure key audiences have the context needed to understand evolving issues and developments. • Develop creative approaches that increase visibility for important company priorities and strengthen understanding of T-Mobile’s perspective in the marketplace. • Anticipate emerging conversations and identify opportunities to engage early, thoughtfully, and effectively.

Enterprise Partnership & Strategic Counsel • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to leaders across the business. • Partner closely with Marketin
