Job Summary:  

The function of the Tim Hortons US Sr. Manager,   Business   Development is to source and conduct due diligence on perspective   new   franchisees   with the goal of signing multi-year development agreements.   Key   responsibilities include   vetting potential franchisees, managing a large pipeline   of prospects ,   and   negotiating   development   agreements   with   a   goal of signing   a record number of   new   development   agreements .   

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:  

• Identify   and conduct   thorough   due diligence on perspective franchisees ;   manag e   relationship s   through deal   life cycle until closing  

• Lead pipeline management,   n egotiation ,   and execution   of development agreements with   high quality franchise partners  

• Actively m arket the  growth  opportuni ties to attract   top-tier franchise candidates and drive brand growth  

• Partner cross-functionally with   Development,   Market Planning,   Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights to drive negotiations    

• Prepare   and deliver presentations   to internal stakeholders and   executive level leadership  on bi-weekly or monthly cadence  

• Collaborate with bu siness   leaders to define   and execute long-terms  development and expansion strategy   for the   Tim Hortons brand  

• Plan and hos t quarterly Discovery Day s to onboard   recently signed franchisees  

Skills & Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field   

• 6-8 years of experience in business development, corporate finance, franchising, or a related field   

• Excellent   negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills  

• Strong   analytical and financial modeling skills, with   proficiency   in excel  

• C ollaborate   cross-functionally   to collect   a   variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partners    

• High level   of integrity, accountability , and ownership, with a strong drive to contribute to team success
