This role serves as a technical leader in the field — driving network performance, leading outage resolution efforts, and mentoring the next generation of technicians in both technical expertise and operational excellence. The Sr. Field Technician provides advanced support across radio access networks, backhaul, disaster recovery, data services, and location-based services, ensuring our network remains resilient and customer-ready. Success in this role is defined by effective project execution, rapid technical problem-solving, continuous process improvement, and the development of a high-performing field team. Job Responsibilities: • Provide technical direction and support to improve network performance and resolve outages within and beyond the immediate team • Lead key projects and initiatives, guiding junior technicians and reporting progress and challenges effectively • Identify and develop process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities, recommending implementation to management • Create training materials and facilitate training sessions to maintain and enhance team technical skills and knowledge • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience: • Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required) • Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred) • 4-7 years Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred) • 4-7 years Wireless telecommunications or other related experience. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Radio Frequency Engineering (Required) • Nokia RAN equipment and Ceragon Microwave Equipment experience (Required) • Electronics (Required) • Expert operational knowledge and theory of all interconnecting circuits to include but not limited to RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio and AC-DC power systems, and AI.

• Problem Solving / Troubleshooting - Solves problems using creativity and innovation. (Required) • Computer Fluency with ability to use programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Required) • Communication (Required) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Attention To Detail (Required) • Self-motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives. • Leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks. • Able to work both independently and in a team environment. • Flexibility with ever-changing environments and priorities. • Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work is part of the job, as well as being part of an on-call rotation for the market, which includes weekends and holidays.

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $69,166 - $124,765

National Base Pay Range: $30.23 - $54.53

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results. 

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
