Duties and Responsibilities  

• Conduct diverse and complex mechanical and electrical tests on Milwaukee’s line of pro ducts and competitive products.  

• Determine   product conforma nce to the test specifications.  

• Perform tests using a variety of electrical and mechanica l test equipment and techniques  

• Prepare reports of test res ults and make recommendations.   

• Exercise responsibility for thoroughness,   timeliness   and accuracy in preparing technic al reports on tests performed.   

• Prepare these reports   utilizing   a PC with word processing, database,   spreadsheet   and   statistical/graphical software.  

• Instruct and assign work to Engineering Technicians.  

Job   Requirements  

• Requires an education equivalent t o a technical   Associate Degree .  

• Excellent organization   & communication   sk ills.  

• 3+ years of experience with test equipment, test procedures and methods, me chanical/electrical principles.  

• High   proficiency   of   Computer Skills   and Microsoft Office products.  

• Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and com ponents.   

• Strong knowledge of Meters, Oscilloscopes, torque   wrenches , hand   tools   required .  

• PC hardware and software knowledge with the ability to program in   Labview , Visual   Basic and PLC’s   is   preferred.   

• Knowledge of Dynamometers, power   meters, power supplies, automated test equipment   a plus .
