As the Senior Director of Credit API Integrations, DPS, you will lead strategic client API integrations for Visa DPS Credit . This client-facing role aligns client objectives with DPS product and technology capabilities, drives internal stakeholder coordination, and oversees integration delivery from solution alignment through launch. The role requires strong execution discipline , clear communication, and the ability to manage complex technical, commercial, and operational dependencies across a highly matrixed environment. This position may require occasional travel to client sites and Visa offices globally.  

Essential Functions  

• Lead strategic client API integration planning and execution from solution alignment through implementation readiness and launch.  

• Partner directly with clients to define business objectives , API requirements, readiness needs, and adoption plans aligned to DPS capabilities , including engagement with senior- level Product and Technology client counterparts .  

• Drive alignment across product, technology, implementation, client services, sales, risk, compliance, and operations to manage priorities, dependencies, and decisions.  

• Oversee integration delivery governance, including milestones, risks, issue resolution, readiness tracking, and executive reporting.  

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications   • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience  

• 10+ years in retail banking, credit issuing, payments processing, or API-enabled financial services.  

• Experience leading client-facing API or technology integrations for strategic clients.  

• Strong stakeholder management across product, technology, implementation, sales, risk, compliance, and operations.  

• Ability to translate business objectives into integration requirements, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.  

• Excellent communication and executive influence in a matrixed environment.  

• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.    

Information for US Applicants For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $195,800.00 to $ 313,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program. Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
