What will you do? (Essential Responsibilities) Drive a data-driven product development culture to optimize digital investments, increasing Rental revenue, and expanding the customer base through enhanced dealer operations and improved product utilization.
• Strategic Collaboration and Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership, product owners, and RU Strategy team to develop and execute the R&U BI/Analytics roadmap, aligning it with organizational goals and priorities.
• Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business data, providing valuable insights to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. Gather and document business requirements for BI & Analytics, defining KPIs and metrics.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Extensive Experience with the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Analytical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Machine Learning: Extensive knowledge of principles, technologies and algorithms of machine learning; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services.
• Programming Languages: Extensive knowledge of basic concepts and capabilities of applying Python programming to solve business challenges; ability to use tools, techniques and platforms in order to write and modify programming languages.
• Query and Database Access Tools: Extensive knowledge of data management systems; ability to use, support and access facilities for searching, extracting and formatting data for further use.

Considerations For Top Candidates: • Desire BS or higher degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, data analytics, computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, finance, or other related degree and 6+ years of professional experience utilizing quantitative analysis/ data management (data design, data quality, metadata, governance, etc.) is required, a Master’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience. OR equivalent working experience
• Proficiency in BI tools, Python and SQL, GA4, BigQuery.
• Experience with AWS services, Cloud ELT/ETL, Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, and data visualization packages like Power BI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of AWS services, Cloud ELT/ETL, Data Lake solutions (Snowflake/AWS) and applied knowledge of stackable solutions and automation techniques is a plus.
• Must demonstrate strong initiative, interpersonal skills, Strong consultative skills, and the ability to communicate and tell compelling stories with data.
