The Technical Consultant II is responsible for supporting the successful delivery and configuration of Alkami Digital Banking solutions by gathering customer requirements, leading implementation discussions, and recommending configuration approaches aligned with customer operational needs and platform best practices. This role serves as a primary technical implementation resource for assigned customer projects and collaborates closely with project managers, customers, development teams, and implementation stakeholders to support successful onboarding outcomes. The position applies technical consulting, solution design, and customer engagement skills to manage implementation activities, troubleshoot configuration challenges, and guide customers through implementation and deployment processes. The Technical Consultant II operates with moderate autonomy while managing multiple concurrent implementation projects and supporting delivery quality and customer satisfaction objectives.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical implementation resource for assigned digital banking conversion projects by supporting customer onboarding activities, solution discussions, and configuration planning efforts

• Configure and support delivery of Alkami Digital Banking solutions by applying customer requirements, validating implementation details, and coordinating onboarding activities across assigned projects

• Lead customer-facing meetings and virtual working sessions by communicating implementation progress, addressing configuration questions, and supporting stakeholder alignment throughout project execution

• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution activities by analyzing platform behaviors, resolving implementation-related concerns, and escalating complex technical issues when necessary

• Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and implementation stakeholders by coordinating technical deliverables, managing dependencies, and supporting successful project execution

• Monitor implementation project risks by identifying operational or technical concerns, documenting impacts, and escalating issues to leadership or project stakeholders as appropriate

• Manage implementation tickets and customer support requests by tracking issue resolution activities, maintaining visibility into project tasks, and ensuring timely follow-up on customer needs

• Assist customers and internal teams with platform functionality questions by providing guidance on Alkami capabilities, configuration options, and implementation best practices

• Develop and maintain implementation documentation by recording configuration details, customer requirements, project notes, and operational procedures throughout implementation engagements

• Support implementation validation and testing activities by reviewing customer configurations, assisting with issue resolution, and confirming alignment with project objectives and operational expectations

• Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects by balancing customer communication, implementation tasks, ticket management, and project milestones across assigned engagements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by sharing customer feedback, implementation observations, and operational improvement opportunities that support successful delivery outcomes

• Maintain current knowledge of Alkami platform functionality, implementation methodologies, and industry best practices to support effective customer consulting and implementation execution

New Logo Team • Conduct customer solution design sessions by gathering implementation requirements, documenting operational needs, and recommending configuration approaches aligned with Alkami platform capabilities and industry best practices

Recommended Experience & Education

Minimum Years of Experience 1–3 years of experience supporting software implementations, technical consulting engagements, customer onboarding initiatives, or client-facing technology projects within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or related environments.   Education Level Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Required

• Experience supporting software implementation, configuration, or customer onboarding activities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead customer-facing discussions

• Ability to gather and document technical and operational requirements effectively

• Experience troubleshooting configuration or implementation-related issues
