Software Engineer, Lead The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to build, integrate, and manage a unique portfolio of work to face our nation's most difficult cyber challenges? You use the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to build a user focused, automated solution.

We need an experienced security professional who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify, implement, and integrate system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to help your customer overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches and specialized and unique capabilities and finding novel ways to integrate them into a cohesive system. By leading the development of a custom capability with consistent performance and scalability, you’ll directly impact the warfighter by providing next generation capability for tomorrows most difficult challenges. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build digital solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have: • 5+ years of experience with higher order programming languages, including Java, C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript

• Experience in interfacing software with databases, including Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or non-SQL databases, such as MongoDB and ElasticSearch

• Ability to work with data transfer protocols

• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: • Experience with the Agile software development process and tools, including the Atlassian Tool Suite

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Ability to analyze and solve problems

• TS/SCI clearance

• Master's degree

• CompTIA Security CE+ Certification or other IAT Level II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
