- Summary of Role: Responsible for developing and maintaining Design Rule Checks (DRC) component within Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies. The role involves modelling semiconductor processes, supporting customer enablement, collaborating with EDA tool vendors, driving automation and quality improvements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver industry-leading DRC solutions.
- Essential Responsibilities : • Responsible for developing design components for PDKs. • Develop and maintain Design Rule Checks (DRC) component as part of Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies.
• Model and accurately represent semiconductor fabrication processes within PEX solutions to ensure high-quality design enablement.
• Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to support DRC development, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvements.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to DRC PDK components, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver best-in-class DRC solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
• Develop and support automation solutions to improve DRC development, validation, quality assurance, and overall engineering productivity.
• Contribute to the development, validation, and enhancement of DRC methodologies, flows, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders to program manage PDK deliverables GlobalFoundries RF technologies.
Other Responsibilities:
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Required Qualifications • Fundamental knowledge in the semiconductor field.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry, EDA, or a related engineering field is considered an advantage.
• Experience in Physical Verification, DRC (Design Rule Checks)
- Preferred Qualifications • Experience with AI automation
• Previous experience with GlobalFoundries and/or RF technologies
Expected Salary Range $118,000.00 - $239,000.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
