Job Description: This job is responsible for managing the end-to-end product life cycle, including conducting market research and competitor analyses, determining product pricing, developing short and long-term strategies, identifying innovative opportunities to modernize product offerings and deliver a more unified customer experience, and adhering to the Product Risk Management policy. Job expectations may include ensuring that product management efforts are integrated with sales, marketing, operations, implementation, and customer service strategies.

Responsibilities:
• Identifies and creates comprehensive plans for product development and deployment, including supporting the creation of sales training programs and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities • Oversees a set of products and maintains financials, including managing the investment profile and profit and loss (P&L) activities, such as revenue and profit margins • Provides information on product trends to sales and marketing teams leveraging knowledge of product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape • Identifies opportunities to streamline or enhance product offerings to fit client's existing and future needs and support continued growth and operational excellence • Manages risk through implementing and monitoring effective controls in partnership with key support partners • Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates • Own end-to-end portfolio performance management, delivering actionable insights that drive client acquisition, engagement, retention, and overall portfolio growth. • Partner closely with Finance, Credit Risk, Digital, Marketing, and Sales teams to analyze performance trends at both portfolio and segment levels, including product, vintage, channel, and client demographics. • Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to inform product strategy, optimize client experiences, and improve business outcomes. • Manage and synthesize competitive intelligence from external vendors such as Argus, Comperemedia, Experian, and other industry sources to benchmark performance, identify market opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making. • Develop executive-level presentations and reporting for senior leadership forums, including CardCo and other key governance and strategy reviews.
Required Qualifications: • Analytical and quantitative skills with experience evaluating performance and developing required reporting that tracks portfolio health and helps drive business decisions across P&L components • Proficient in SAS/SQL with hands on experience querying and analyzing large data sets • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, scenario modeling, etc. • Aptitude for developing business cases, performance frameworks, KPI scorecards, and executive reporting to support strategic decision-making • Proven ability to synthesize data from multiple internal and external sources into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. • Excellent verbal and written communication; Comfortable packaging and presenting complex information and insights in a clear and compelling manner to strategic partners and leaders • Ability to proactively identify, analyze, and improve upon existing processes for optimization • Ability to manage varied set of priorities, both planned and ad-hoc, and adapt within a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Intellectually curious and proactivity identifies and leads research to support go-to-market strategies and tactics, including the optimization of marketing offers, channels, and pricing
