Our work depends on a ServiceNow Developer Senior joining our team to support integration and development improvements to our ServiceNow platform, including broadening its impact through module expansion, platform integration, and automation. The ServiceNow Developer Senior will be an important part of the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of our ServiceNow implementation; they will also work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices.

HOW A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT • Design and configure Service Portal widgets, pages, and Service Catalog items • Build custom Table and form design layouts and data structures • Secure platform data using precise Access Control Lists (ACLs) • Automate business logic using Flow Designer and integrated APIs • Set up email and event-based Notifications • Write robust client-side and server-side Scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes) • Implement and optimize Document Intelligence for automated data extraction • Deploy and manage Walk-in user experience via Workplace Service Kiosk and Workplace Visitor Management • Collaborate with Product Owners, Process Managers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to groom user stories and translate business needs into technical designs • Partners with technical stakeholders, architects, and product owners to shape solution design and platform governance • Reliably estimates relative work effort for various requests for self/team to enable prioritization • Support platform upgrade cycles, instance cloning, and Automated Test Framework (ATF) execution • Proactively stays on top of new capabilities in the platform • Mentors junior talent • Handles other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:   Education: • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

Required Experience: • 3+ year(s) of related experience

Required Skills and Abilities: • Experience in Service Portal, Service Catalog architecture, and ACL security. • Experience with Flow Designer, API integrations, and client/server-side scripting. • Experience with Document Intelligence, Workplace Service Kiosk, and Workplace Visitor Management modules. • Understanding of ITIL processes and SDLC practices, including Agile/Scrum requirements gathering. • Problem-solving skills and problem-solving leadership. • Ability to communicate as a technical authority and contribute to proposals and technical specifications, and lead Scrum demos, work groups, and team efforts. • Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels, mentor junior team members, and support staff development. • Ability to drive methodology changes, manage customer deliverables, and identify and resolve process issues.

Security Clearance Level: • Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust  

Required Certifications: • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
