How This Role Makes a Difference

Care Access is seeking an experienced Senior Trainer, Clinical Education to join our dynamic Clinical Education Team, part of the Global Expansion and Study Operations department.

The Senior Trainer, Clinical Education will play a key role in delivering, standardizing, and continuously improving onboarding and upskilling initiatives for site-level clinical research staff at Care Access and serves as the escalation point for complex training, performance, or compliance challenges. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Education, this role independently leads the delivery of onsite and remote training for Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) and site staff to ensure readiness, compliance, and consistency with clinical study execution. With strong CRC and training experience, the Senior Trainer, Clinical Education will independently lead structured and tailored training to ensure readiness and compliance with study execution. The Senior Trainer, Clinical Education will address and solve challenging training situations in real time. The Senior Trainer, Clinical Education will identify gaps to strengthen curriculum and delivery. The Senior Trainer, Clinical Education must be collaborative in nature working closely with Site Operations to ensure the learners receive training that is practical, clear and aligned with regulatory requirements and Care Access’ exceptionally high-quality standards. This role also contributes to the strategic development and alignment of clinical education initiatives, ensuring all training efforts reflect organizational priorities, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Success in this role is measured by timely onboarding, strong compliance with protocol and regulatory standards, and clear staff readiness to perform their responsibilities effectively.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Clinical Education: Onboarding & Continuous Training Development:

• Revise, expand, and optimize onboarding materials and workflows to create a standardized, role-specific, and site-relevant onboarding program.

• Deliver hands-on, in-person onboarding and provide ongoing virtual support during the initial integration period and beyond, ensuring continuous guidance and reinforcement of learning.

• Develop, review, and maintain documentation, training templates, study-specific training, and platform-specific user guides tailored to Care Access tools (e.g., ST, UPVIO, CRIO, IT Support and Supply Portal, Fusion Live, Safety Culture, etc.) and/or sponsor-provided platforms.

• Conduct baseline assessments and early issue resolution for new hires.

• Support the creation, review, and refinement of training curricula, role-specific training plans, and educational materials to ensure they meet organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and evolving operational needs.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to ensure educational content reflects current regulatory standards, organizational priorities, and best practices in clinical operations.

• Assess and evaluate clinical competencies during onboarding and throughout training to ensure readiness and ongoing proficiency. Incorporate training analytics and performance data to continuously improve learning outcomes.

• Provide peer-to-peer support to the Trainer, Clinical Education staff members to strengthen clinical knowledge and consistency in practical delivery.

• Addresses complex site-level training challenges involving CRCs and site staff by assessing performance gaps, clarifying process expectations, and implementing corrective training to ensure compliant and effective study execution.

• Own day-to-day quality and effectiveness of CRC onboarding, including identifying systematic gaps in the implementation of learning modules by gathering site feedback, reviewing performance trends, and assessing knowledge retention; partners with Director, Clinical Education and Regional Management team to refine content, update materials, and enhance curriculum effectiveness

• Serve as a subject‑matter escalation point for Trainers and site leadership on CRC training issues.

• Development & Performance Support:

• Serve as the main point of contact for onboarding support, development planning, and performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with departmental Managers.

• Facilitate regular development sessions with individuals or small groups and provide tailored resources to support performance growth and skill enhancement

• Provide biweekly status updates to leadership (i.e., Regional Managers, Site Support Solutions, etc. and Director of Clinical Education). Proactively identify trends in performance and recommend targeted interventions.

• Training Implementation & Delivery:

• Partner with internal departments launching new platforms or processes to ensure seamless implementation and supporting documentation.
