Carrier is seeking a Supply Chain Leader, Engineered Material Productivity to help drive engineered, design-related material cost improvement initiatives across residential, light commercial and commercial HVAC programs. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong collaboration, problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams across engineering, sourcing, operations, and business units.  

This position leads a globally distributed team and partners closely with stakeholders across production facilities and design centers to ensure annual engineered material productivity targets are achieved through disciplined execution and continuous improvement.  

Key Responsibilities  

Engineered Material Productivity & Execution  

·         Partner with Engineering to d evelop and execute the annual engineered direct material productivity plan and drive delivery of committed cost reduction targets.  

·         Lead a team who c oordinate s and track s a portfolio of design , supplier, and operations initiatives across global production facilities and design centers.  

·         Monitor progress versus plan, identify roadblocks and influence others to help come up with solutions to schedule, technical, or resource challenges.   

·         Utilize positive cre ativity to come up with recovery plans.  

·         Partner closely with sourcing, operations, finance and business unit engineering leaders in the execution, staffing, prioritization, and financial tracking .  

·         Maintain productivity tracking, dashboards, and key performance metrics along with the management operating system.  

People Leadership & Global Coordination  

·         Lead and develop direct reports located in multiple countries, fostering engagement, accountability, and performance.  

·         Lead a team of PMOs who project manage strategic projects with engineering.  

·         Provide coaching, feedback, and clear priorities to a geographically distributed team.  

·         Promote consistent processes and performance expectations across regions while recognizing local needs.  

·         Work every day with a can-do, aggressive, and bias for action mindset.  

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement  

·         Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven PowerPoin t updates and presentations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.  

·         Partner across functions to ensure initiatives progress with transparency, alignment, and accountability.  

·         Support formal review and governance cycles using clear, data-driven materials. Lead the presentation cre ation and delivery to executive leadership multiple times per month.  

·         Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills and ability to work across organizational functions .  

·         Strong facilitation, team building, collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.  

Required Qualifications  

·         Bachelor's degree in S upply C hain , Engineering, Technology, or Business  

·         5+ years' experience in engineering, supply chain management, sourcing, or material productivity, or product cost improvement roles working on projects for manufactured products .  

·       3+ years' experience with people with leadership experience, including managing teams across multiple locations or regions.  

·         5+ years' experience with a proven track record of discuss ing design or manufacturing changes at a practical technical level.  

·        3+ years' experience with s trong analytical and communication skills, including experience with dashboards and performance metrics.  

·         3+ years' experience with d emonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.  

·         3+ years’ experience personally leading projects or programs for manufacturing companies.  

·         3+ years' experience working with corporate finance in tracking financial metrics  

·         Ability to travel up to 15% to production and design sites to support cost reduction activities.  

·         3+ years' experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint   

Preferred Qualifications  

·         Experience supporting change management initiatives, process improvements, or new ways of working.  

·         Strong process mindset with experience driving standardization and continuous improvement.  

·         Spanish fluency (written and spoken)    

·         MBA degree  

·         HVAC product experience  

·         PMP Certification or extensive program management training or experience  

Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
