What   you'll   be doing  

The Talent Acquisition team plays an important role in helping us attract, engage, and hire the talent that will shape CIBC’s future. As an Early Talent Programs Senior Specialist,   you’ll   lead the planning and execution of early talent programs that support recruitment, onboarding, development activities, and intern programming for students and early career talent.   You’ll   coordinate campus recruitment events, career fairs, and information sessions while partnering closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to align program activity with hiring needs.   You’ll   also manage the early talent employee referrals program and lead the delivery of summer intern programming, including orientation, senior leadership sessions, workshops, social events, and end-of-term programming. In this role,   you’ll   build strong relationships with student interns and stakeholders across the bank, including senior leaders, while also partnering with university career   cente r s , faculty, and student organizations to strengthen CIBC’s presence on campus.   You’ll   support candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding journey, develop marketing and outreach materials, and track program results to help inform future strategy and continuous improvement.  

At C IBC we   enable the work environment most   optimal   for you to thrive in your role.   You'll   have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where   you'll   spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.   Seasonal travel (local and regional) is   required   for this position.  

How   you'll   succeed  

Program Management - Lead the   development,   coordinatio n   and delivery of early talent programs,   including    the   summer intern program,   recruitment campaigns, onboarding activities,   rotational program   initiatives, and the early talent employee referrals program.  

Intern Experience Delivery - Manage summer intern programming from planning through execution, including orientation, Leader Connect sessions with senior leadership, learning workshops,   supplemental   activities, social events, and an end-of-term case competition.  

Relationship Building - Build strong, trusted relationships with student interns and stakeholders across the bank, including senior leaders, to deliver a connected and meaningful early talent experience.  

Stakeholder Partnership - Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, Learning and Development, and cross-functional partners to understand workforce needs, align priorities, and deliver program activities that support business goals.  

External Relationship Building - Build and   maintain   strong partnerships with university career   centers , faculty, and student organizations to support outreach efforts and strengthen CIBC’s employer brand.  

Reporting and Operational Support - Track and report on key metrics such as candidate pipeline activity, event attendance, program participation, and hiring outcomes while supporting interview scheduling, communications, and program records.

You ha ve relevant experience . You bring 5+ y ears o f experience in talent acquisition, campus recruitment, early talent programming, or a related area.   You’re   confident   managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.  

You’re   an exceptional relationship builder. You’re skilled at building credibility and trust with student interns, business partners, and stakeholders across the bank, including senior leaders. You know how to adapt your approach to different audiences and create strong, lasting partnerships.  

You’re   a strong   program and event planner. You have experience   delivering   recruitment programs and executing events from planning through delivery. You can manage details, t imelines,   logis tics , an d   shifting   priorities with care and consistency.

You understand the importance of delivering a thoughtful, responsive, and inclusive experience for early career talent while balancing the needs of internal stakeholders. You communicate clearly and help others feel informed, supported, and engaged throughout the process.

  At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of   $ 90,000 - $110,000   for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to   participate   in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus   component .
