About this role
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will drive revenue growth by selling our innovative SafeSend and SurePrep solutions to accounting firms. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from opportunity creation to closing deals, focusing on delivering significant value to our clients.
About the Role • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas for SafeSend and SurePrep products.
• Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and lead generation activities.
• Conduct thorough customer needs assessments to understand client challenges and pain points related to business processes and tax preparation.
• Articulate and demonstrate the value proposition of SafeSend and SurePrep solutions through compelling professional presentations and product demonstrations.
• Leverage consultative selling techniques to guide prospects through the sales process, addressing objections and building strong rapport.
• Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounting firms.
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams to support sales efforts and enhance brand awareness.
• Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and West Publishing Corporation.
• Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in web-based technology relevant to our product offerings.
• Utilize sales technology and CRM systems effectively to manage pipelines, track progress, and report on sales activities.
• Actively participate in partnership development initiatives to expand market reach and collaboration opportunities.
• Provide valuable feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market demands.
About You • +5 years of successful sales experience in software solutions, preferably in B2B or professional services environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting firm business processes and operational challenges.
• Expertise in consultative selling methodologies and customer needs assessments.
• Demonstrated ability to create opportunities and build strong client relationships.
• Exceptional professional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in leveraging sales technology and CRM platforms.
• Experience with web-based technology solutions.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and drive complex sales cycles.
• A results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering value and tackling new challenges.
• High School diploma is required; Bachelors degree preferred.
