About the Team Workday's Product & Technology (P&T) PMO organization is responsible for leading and executing P&T Strategy into Execution. The team is responsible for End to End Program execution and delivery of strategic initiatives across Workday. The team comprises of Program Managers with core responsibility of successfully leading & delivering of Portfolio and Programs. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to join Workday's Product & Technology (P&T) Portfolio Management Organization to lead Cyber Security related programs across Workday.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter and proactive problem-solver who is capable of managing multiple complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving standardization, and communicating with executive stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to ensure alignment and execution of plans. - Proactively identify roadblocks and mitigate risks. - Drive process standardization and continuous improvement. - Facilitate key meetings and workshops. - Regularly provide executive-level briefings, including key performance indicators, milestones, risk mitigation plans, and key decisions.

About You

Basic Qualifications: 8+ years experience in project or program management within a product development environment, defining, launching, and iterating on product development projects or programs. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Other Qualifications: Deep understanding of Agile Project Management principles and methodologies such as [insert specific methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe] and proven ability to lead agile transformations and drive efficient product development. Strong ability to gather and interpret Business Insights related to product performance, market trends, and competitive analysis using [insert specific tools or techniques] to inform strategic product decisions. Strong Decision Making skills in complex product-related matters, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals within [insert specific frameworks] and effectively communicating rationale and potential impacts. Strong Interpersonal Intelligence skills, effectively communicating, collaborating, and influencing [insert specific product development team members and stakeholders] at various levels. Proven Leadership skills by [insert specific actions like guiding strategic direction, motivating teams, and resolving complex conflicts] within product development programs. Solid understanding of Leading Change principles and the ability to lead and facilitate [insert specific change initiatives] within product development organizations. Working knowledge of People Management principles and experience in managing and developing product development teams, including [insert specific aspects like performance management or coaching]. Strong Personal Initiative by [insert specific proactive behaviors] in identifying and driving forward strategic product development opportunities and innovative solutions. Good working knowledge of Process Improvements methodologies and proven ability to identify and implement optimizations within product development workflows. Strong skills in Program Delivery Management by overseeing the successful execution of [insert specific complex product development programs] and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Proven ability to build and maintain strong Relationship Building with key product development stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust across organizational boundaries by [insert specific communication or interpersonal skills]. Developing Strategic Thinking skills by contributing to and shaping [insert specific aspects of product strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision].

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
