About the Role:

We are expanding the Papa Community team and looking for a Senior Product Manager to own product development for Papa Community. You'll be our first dedicated PM — the person responsible for defining and driving the roadmap for our platform while partnering closely with engineering, clinical operations, and the GM to build the tools that power our care model at scale.

This is a rare opportunity to define the product from the ground up at a company where the product decisions you make today will shape how we deliver care for years to come.

This role is unique because:

You'll own the platform that powers our care model. The platform you build is the operational backbone of Papa Community — it determines how our care team provides engaging member experiences, enhances care pathways, and ultimately demonstrates improved patient outcomes. V1 of our platform got us operational; the ongoing investment is where Papa Community's clinical intelligence gets built.

You'll be handed a business problem and given real latitude to figure out the right way to solve it. If what excites you is being trusted to define what to build and why, this is the role for you.

You'll report directly to the GM, and partner closely with the engineering and clinical teams. Your voice will shape platform strategy, build vs. buy decisions, and how we sequence investment across the roadmap.

What you'll do:

Own our care delivery platform roadmap end to end. Lead discovery, define requirements, sequence investment, and drive delivery for our platform — from V1 through the ongoing layers of clinical intelligence, automation, and operational tooling that follow. You'll make foundational decisions about how the platform evolves that will shape Papa Community's care model for years to come.

Design and improve internal clinical workflows. Work directly with the care team to understand how care delivery actually works on the ground, and translate that into product requirements and workflow improvements. You'll own the product layer of the tools our internal team relies on every day.

Lead system integration decisions. Evaluate and prioritize API integrations within our health tech stack — including our EHR, care management tools, and billing infrastructure. You'll make build vs. buy recommendations and ensure our systems work together in a way that reduces friction for the clinical team and improves data quality.

Own end-to-end outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of clinical and engineering teams, each with distinct needs and constraints. You'll earn influence through judgment, translate across functions, and take accountability for outcomes.

Skills we look for

Core Competencies

Greenfield platform judgment - You've built 0-to-1 products before. You know how to sequence a roadmap around operational need rather than feature completeness, make smart build vs. buy calls under resource constraints, and resist over-engineering when speed matters more than perfection.

User empathy and behavioral intuition - You have deep empathy for the people using your product and strong intuition for what drives human behavior. You've built for non-technical users balancing patient care and efficiency. You know when to trust qualitative feedback over data alone.

Clinical workflow fluency - You can sit with the care team, understand how they deliver care, and translate that into product requirements without needing a clinical translator. You ask the right questions, and you don't over-engineer what you hear.

Analytical rigor - You define success metrics that capture real outcomes rather than proxy activity. You use product and operational data to understand adoption, friction, and impact — and let those insights set your priorities, not just validate them. You have strong quantitative fluency and can move fluidly between the numbers and the narrative.

Business model awareness - You understand that platform decisions have P&L implications. You think one level above the product and can connect your roadmap choices to business metrics and member outcomes.

High autonomy and ownership - You thrive in environments with open questions and limited established processes. You communicate with precision, make recommendations, and own outcomes without needing detailed requirements or constant direction.

Startup adaptability - You move fast, communicate proactively across clinical and operational teams, and understand when to ship quickly versus invest in longer-term solutions.

Regulatory literacy - You understan
