We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.    Job Description    Senior Process Engineer Location: Milpitas, California Join Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics and help develop the manufacturing processes behind high-reliability microelectronic products. You will play a key role in taking advanced packaging and assembly processes from concept and evaluation through production qualification, while partnering with manufacturing teams, suppliers, customers, operators, and management. What you'll do • Develop, implement, scale, and maintain microelectronic packaging and assembly processes. • Establish process controls and evaluate new materials and automated equipment. • Support material review board activities and resolve nonconforming product issues. • Partner with suppliers and customers to address material and production concerns. • Contribute to design reviews, program readiness, design for manufacturability, and new product development. • Design and document precision tooling, fixtures, bills of materials, and assembly drawings. • Program, troubleshoot, and qualify manufacturing equipment. • Create clear process documentation and step-by-step production instructions. • Apply statistical analysis, process control, problem-solving, and design of experiments. • Communicate complex technical topics effectively across technical and operational audiences.

What you need • Process development, scale-up, and manufacturing problem-solving skills - Required • Die attach, wire bonding, flip chip, underfill, encapsulation, hermetic sealing, and packaging experience - Required • Knowledge of electronic materials, equipment qualification, statistical analysis, and process control - Required • Strong written and verbal communication skills - Required • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field - Required • 8+ years of experience developing microelectronic assembly processes - Required • Hands-on equipment programming and troubleshooting experience - Preferred • Knowledge of MIL-PRF-38535 - Preferred

   Salary Range: $90,800.00-$121,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
