Required Qualifications • Active TS/SCI clearance required. • U.S. citizenship required due to federal security requirements. • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network and voice infrastructure in federal, defense, intelligence, or similarly secure environments. • Experience performing voice moves, adds, changes, and deletions for IP phones, extensions, voicemail, call routing, hunt groups, shared lines, and related telephony services. • Working knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP, RTP, QoS, dial plans, gateways, trunks, voicemail systems, and unified communications platforms. • Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, LAN/WAN connectivity, network segmentation, and troubleshooting. • Experience supporting Cisco or comparable network and voice technologies, such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, voice gateways, IP phones, CUBE/SBCs, routers, and switches. • Ability to troubleshoot voice and network issues using logs, packet captures, monitoring tools, call traces, command-line diagnostics, and vendor support resources. • Familiarity with secure configuration management, change control, incident management, vulnerability remediation, and documentation requirements in a federal environment. • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to support end users, brief technical issues, and coordinate effectively with engineering teams and government stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, or ability to obtain within program requirements. • Networking or collaboration certification such as CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or equivalent experience. • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco Jabber/Webex, Microsoft Teams Phone, Avaya, or other enterprise voice platforms. • Experience with SIP trunks, PRI circuits, E911 requirements, analog gateways, paging systems, conference bridges, call recording, or contact center integrations. • Experience supporting classified voice environments, multi-site telephony deployments, secure facilities, and mission-critical operational support. • Familiarity with network monitoring, voice monitoring, and diagnostic tools such as RTMT, Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk, SNMP, SYSLOG, NetFlow, or comparable platforms.
