About the Team & How We Work:

As a Senior Manager, Strategic Launch at Miter, you will lead and coach a team of 6–8 Strategic Launch Managers responsible for delivering our most complex, highest-ACV customer implementations. You’ll operate as the senior point of contact on our most strategic accounts, stepping in directly when things get hard, while partnering closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Product to shape how Miter scales its implementation model as we move upmarket. Success in this role requires the ability to bring repeatable structure to inherently bespoke, high-variability work — without flattening the flexibility these customers require — while holding your team to a consistently high bar.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead a team of 6–8 Strategic Launch Managers delivering Miter’s most complex, high-ACV implementations

- Set the standard for what great looks like on strategic accounts — from kickoff through go-live — and coach your team to that bar consistently

- Own escalation resolution on strategic accounts, operating as the senior point of presence with customers when things get hard

- Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Product to define how Miter scales its implementation model as we move upmarket — not just executing today’s playbook, but helping build the next one

- Drive repeatability without sacrificing the bespoke execution strategic customers require — identifying what can be systematized, what should stay flexible, and why

- Continuously improve leading indicators and early warning systems so the team surfaces risk earlier and delivers on commitments more reliably

What You’ll Need:

- 5+ years managing implementation or delivery teams at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, with direct exposure to complex, enterprise-level engagements

- Track record of building repeatable processes on top of non-standard, high-variability customer work

- Experience operating as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership — not just executing, but shaping how delivery works at scale

- Outstanding stakeholder management (customer, internal) and communication (written, verbal) abilities

- Exceptional patience and resilience supporting customers and teams in high-pressure environments

- Exceptional data analysis skills to track metrics and inform decisions

- Experience leading implementations with heavy reliance on 3rd-party API integrations

HYBRID VS. REMOTE APPROACH:

We believe the magic of Miter comes from working side by side. We also believe in work flexibility. For roles that are listed as hybrid, our approach is 3 days a week in the office giving us the chance to connect, brainstorm, and build stronger relationships. If you live within a reasonable commute to either our New York City or San Francisco offices, we ask that you work in our hybrid approach.

Otherwise, for roles listed as remote or in other cities where we don't have an office location, there is no requirement to work in our hybrid approach. We do travel a few times a year for onboarding, company-wide and team specific off-sites!
