The Sr Mgr Quality Engineering will oversee a team responsible for quality assurance and testing, automation, metrics, reporting, and defect reduction across projects throughout the organization. This role will provide hands-on leadership in quality standards, processes, and best practices while ensuring appropriate visibility into product quality throughout development and before major releases. What you will do: • Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers and Business Systems Analysts on quality assurance best practices, including manual and automated testing. • Oversee the execution of quality assurance and testing, automation, metrics, reporting, and defect tracking and reduction across organizational projects. • Review test plans and oversee the bug-tracking lifecycle, metrics development and tracking, test automation, and performance testing. • Develop and coordinate test strategies, plans, and reporting for software projects and applications. • Help establish downstream quality assurance best practices across cross-functional teams. • Provide appropriate visibility into quality during development and before major product releases. • Improve standards, best practices, and processes related to test plan creation, test cases, and domestic and global quality assurance metrics. • Collaborate with development, project management, business, management, and other teams throughout the enterprise. • Manage an offshore quality assurance team. • Conduct performance reviews, approve vacation and PAL requests, manage performance issues, and exercise hiring and termination authority. • Train, coach, mentor, and direct the work of direct reports. • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will bring: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience. • Six years of testing experience. • Extensive experience with test strategy, planning, reporting, and coordination for software projects and applications. • Ability to motivate, influence, and lead quality assurance teams toward high-quality product releases. • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and deliver on commitments. • Exceptional attention to detail. • Proven ability to adopt new technologies with ease. • Client or customer management experience. • Strong problem-solving, issue-resolution, negotiation, and diplomacy skills. • Ability to identify risks and recommend mitigations for project delays. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the enterprise.

Base Salary Range $105,700.00 - $149,275.00 The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
