This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office 2–3 days per week

• Optimization Engine Support: Collaborate across credit, finance, and strategy teams to support campaign launches and help refine targeting frameworks to maximize growth while maintaining risk thresholds.

BI, Reporting & Greenfield Analytics

• Automated Reporting Infrastructure: Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards and automated reporting solutions (conversion funnels, transaction trends, and channel performance) from the ground up.

• Self-Serve Analytics: Establish a clear reporting layer in our database so stakeholders across the company can easily understand business and campaign performance without writing SQL.

• Data Standards: Partner with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure data quality, standardized KPI definitions, and scalable attribution frameworks.

• Domain Knowledge: Experience supporting credit card, consumer lending, digital banking, or fintech products strongly preferred. Strong familiarity with card acquisition funnels, marketing channels (e.g., Direct Mail, Digital, Affiliates), and lifecycle metrics.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel and experience working with large-scale datasets. Hands-on experience with analytical programming languages (Python or R) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

• Testing & Analytics: Deep understanding of experimentation methodologies, statistical analysis, and campaign measurement.

• Business Acumen: Understanding of unit economics basics (CAC, LTV, conversion rates) and how marketing performance directly impacts business growth.

• Communication: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with a track record of translating technical data into actionable insights for non-technical leadership.

• Mindset: Highly organized, intellectually curious, and comfortable building from zero in a fast-paced environment.
