We are looking for a Senior Manager, Human Resources - Manufacturing  to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.  This role will report to our Director, Human Resources  and is based in Newark, Delaware.   This is a fully on-site, in office  role  5 days a week . 

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Manager to align people strategies with business objectives. She/he will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing both strategic and operational support across employee relations, talent management, performance management, workforce planning, compensation, engagement, and organizational development.

The ideal candidate will operate at a leadership level and serve as a fully integrated member of the management team. This person must balance employee advocacy with business leadership while driving initiatives that support the overall HR strategy, the company’s strategic priorities, and BE’s culture and core values.

Role and Responsibilities: Organization Development & Effectiveness • Continually scans the organization for opportunities to enhance capabilities and productivity, and acts as “hands-on consultant” to management in addressing opportunities for improvement • Assists operations leaders in identifying and defining resourcing requirements • Manages, analyzes, and utilizes appropriate workforce data from HRIS and other sources to make fact-based organization and people decisions

Talent Acquisition • Partners with TA and leadership to confirm job requirements and reviews and approves internal/external job postings • Ensures the efficient, timely, and cost-effective recruitment of qualified candidates for approved positions; partners with internal/external recruiting resources/agencies as needed

Performance Management & Talent Development • Provides input and implements core processes to improve employee performance and build organization capabilities • Facilitates performance assessment & calibration and individual development planning processes; ensures appropriate documentation and follow-up • Coaches people-managers at various levels to be effective leaders and team members • Ensures appropriate succession plans are in place for key positions and talent • Partners with business leadership and Legal department to reinforce the Company’s ethical standards in accordance with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

Employee Relations and Engagement • Leverages engagement survey or other available information to drive proactive employee communications and engagement initiatives • Utilizes employee relations issues to diagnose and solve underlying HR issues throughout sites and develops and implements strategies to address these root causes • Demonstrates and balances company and employee advocacy in working with teams to address/mediate issues or capture opportunities

Total Rewards • Ensures all employees understand our core compensation & benefits principles, programs, & practices; provides consultation to client groups & governance as required • Provides consultation to operations leadership in administering the compensation and benefits for manufacturing employees, ensuring equitable practices are taking place across sites, and our practices are competitive to attract talent

Skills and Experience: • Bachelor's degree and 10+ plus years of direct relevant experience. Advanced degree strongly preferred • Experience in industrial relations with a mix of both union and non-union environments • Experience working in manufacturing plants, frequently walking the plant to gain a better understanding of work processes and procedures • Proven experience managing contingent workforce programs, including contractors, temporary employees, consultants, and vendor relationships across multiple business functions

• Demonstrates strategic thinking and translates business priorities into people strategies • Experience managing complex employee relations, federal & state laws, & dispute resolution • Demonstrates the ability to coach, lead and develop organizations • Demonstrated success in a dynamic, frequently changing, high growth environment • Excellent interpersonal skills and "Customer Focus" with ability to positively interact with Executives, business managers and vendors • Good knowledge of compensation planning, modeling and analysis • Proven business acumen, excellent organizational, planning and project management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with HRIS systems preferably Workday and Microsoft Office suite
