JOB DESCRIPTION
A Senior Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering excellent intelligence services to a wide range of Concentric clients. In the course of their day-to-day activities, a Senior Analyst could lead a holistic risk assessment for a high net worth family, design an open source monitoring collection plan to discover threats against a private company’s executives, or consult with a non-profit client on risks during upcoming travel. This position requires superb communication skills and the capacity to assimilate intelligence content from numerous sources into products that effectively communicate risk and opportunity to a variety of audiences. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required to effectively handle the diverse array of client problem sets and intelligence production requirements.
As a senior member of Concentric’s Intelligence Team, the Senior Analyst will build and share their subject matter expertise on the intelligence process and work on cross-functional initiatives that advance collaboration across the company. In addition, the candidate must understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally, and exercise a strong commitment to our core values of quality, trust, and discretion. Successful candidates will have an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to effectively manage change and ambiguity, and a commitment to personal growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review intelligence reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client tradecraft/intelligence reporting standards
• Onboard new analysts to client systems, Concentric tools, and intelligence methodology, and provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to team members
• Assess risks and threats to company assets, events, and operations — including social media monitoring, situational crisis monitoring, and data-driven analytic assessments of potential operational and strategic threats — drawing on publicly available information
• Assist team members by performing initial intelligence collection as requested to support broader research and production
• Develop, maintain, and lead new intelligence processes and products that meet evolving client requirements, prevent strategic surprise, and deliver innovative, client-tailored solutions
• Conduct research on international locations clients may visit — crime and safety, political stability, hotel/venue safety, local customs, and transportation best practices — and produce travel risk assessments.
• Consult and conduct risk assessments for complex client situations: define intelligence requirements, apply data analysis and risk methodology, and write and brief findings on risks such as political movements, terrorism, crime, espionage, public health, information security, weather, government corruption, or poor infrastructure. Write threat assessments and open-source monitoring reports as needed
• Provide ad hoc security and risk advisory to clients on topics such as digital footprint and security best practices
• Contribute to and lead cross-team initiatives to build joint service offerings, serving as a client's entry point into the broader Concentric organization and coordinating with other teams to fully address client risks
• Present a professional, dependable presence consistent with the Concentric brand in all client communications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to meet the client needs, including working nights and/or weekends to accommodate event support
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to assimilate intelligence content from numerous sources into products that effectively communicate risk and threat environment
• Associates must be able to effectively assess and evaluate sensitive situations and quickly respond to critical issues
