Great American Custom, an underwriting division of Great American Insurance Group, dedicates itself to serving client needs and delivering outstanding service. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities • Examines and processes new insurance policies, complex renewals, endorsements, and cancellations using various systems.
• Enters or loads data into appropriate systems and researches and resolves data errors.
• Generates and distributes policy documents, certificates of insurance, and other related materials.
• Organizes, prepares, and updates reports. Determines and adjusts billing status as needed.
• Identifies opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Education: High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred) • Great American's culture is built on connection shared learning and strong relationships. To Support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site at our Downtown Los Angeles office four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in-office days are Tuesday - Thursday , with fourth day determined by business needs.
Experience: • Generally, a minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance operations or customer service. Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Property/Casualty Insurance license.
• Knowledge in Excess and Primary line of business.
Scope of Job/Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal insurance-related policies.
• Advanced analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance data processing systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical, organizational skills, team player and detail oriented.
• May provide training, guidance and assistance to lower-level positions.

Salary Range: $22.12 -$33.17
