About this role

Location:   Alhambra, CA

Job Summary:

The Senior HR Business Partner works strategically with all levels in the organization and successfully partners with our managers and leadership team to help implement the people strategy needed for business success.  As the key point of contact for our Southern California locations, as well as all fully remote employees in the US, this role ensures we deliver day-to-day HR Activities, as well as customer-centric HR consultation and business partnering for employees and leaders.  The Senior HR Business Partner is hands-on and responsible for all facets of an employee’s lifecycle. 

Responsibilities: • Partner with business leaders, up to business unit GM, to understand business objectives and develop and/or implement HR strategies that support these goals • Drive, recommend, and at times manage creative strategies to address retention, employee engagement and leadership development • Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development & HR Technology) to design and implement integrated people solutions tailored to regional needs • Own the employee lifecycle, including new employee onboarding, induction, ongoing performance management, and exit processes • Manage the HR side of internal and external audits from Quality Management programs such as ISO 9001 • Support and participate in ongoing global HR projects, processes, and programs

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree (MA/MBA is a plus) and 8+ years of progressive human resources experience in a manufacturing environment (hi-tech sector preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience • Excellent knowledge of state and federal labor laws • HR Certification is a plus • Preferred experience working for a multinational/global organization • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing • Ability to work well independently and proactively • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support a multi-shift manufacturing environment • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization • Strong focus on execution and high-quality output with strong attention to detail

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $103,000 - $147,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
