 Job Description
About the role: This key role operates at the intersection of customer insight, clinical relevance, market development, and commercial execution, ensuring that TB solutions are positioned as a cohesive, differentiated offering across diverse healthcare environments, including both developed and emerging markets. The role will partner closely with regional marketing, product management, medical affairs, clinical marketing, R&D, commercial operations, market access, across both the microbiology and molecular segments and external partners to translate portfolio priorities and customer needs into high-impact strategies, messaging, and programs.
Key responsibilities • Define, evolve, and communicate the global marketing strategy for Tuberculosis and Respiratory Solutions across microbiology and molecular diagnostics, informed by market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, clinical guidelines, and portfolio priorities
• Own the global TB and Respiratory Solutions portfolio planning and execution, including strategic priorities, annual marketing plans, launch readiness, portfolio positioning, and downstream commercialization support across both segments
• Provide strategic input into portfolio strategy, business cases, and annual strategic reviews, using market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and priorities for TB diagnostics
• Partner with product management, R&D, medical affairs, market access, and regional teams to ensure that global TB strategy is aligned to product roadmaps, evidence generation, market needs, and commercial execution priorities
• Lead global TB portfolio marketing launches, including new product introductions, enhancement announcements, launch packages, and commercial readiness materials
• Develop and execute global launch plans in partnership with regional marketing, commercial operations, product management, and marketing communications to drive coordinated and effective market activation
• Build launch toolkits, sales enablement materials, training content, campaign assets, customer-facing tools, and portfolio playbooks that support both microbiology and molecular TB offerings
• Ensure launch and commercialization plans reflect regional market differences, including varied healthcare systems, care settings, testing algorithms, public health priorities, and resource environments
• Develop differentiated value propositions, messaging frameworks, and customer-facing narratives that clearly articulate the clinical, operational, economic, and public health value of TB solutions across microbiology and molecular workflows
• Translate complex scientific, clinical, and technical information into clear, compelling, compliant messaging for laboratorians, clinicians, procurement stakeholders, public health decision-makers, and commercial teams
• Partner with clinical marketing and medical teams on development of clinical publications, posters, scientific presentations, webinars, and educational programs that strengthen clinical credibility and customer engagement
• Translate clinical evidence, guidelines, and scientific data into customer-focused strategies and messages that support adoption and strengthen our market position
Minimum Requirements and Education: • Bachelor’s degree required in Life Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field • At least 7 years of experience in global or regional strategic marketing, product marketing, product management, or commercial marketing within diagnostics, IVD, medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences • Experience in tuberculosis, infectious diseases, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, respiratory diagnostics, or related clinical areas strongly preferred • Demonstrated success developing product launch plans, launch packages, integrated campaigns, messaging frameworks, sales enablement tools, and customer-facing commercial materials • Proven ability to translate complex scientific, technical, and clinical information into clear, compelling, evidence-based marketing strategies and messaging • Experience working across global or multiregional markets, including developed and emerging healthcare environments, with ability to incorporate local clinical practices, customer needs, regulatory considerations, and market access dynamics • Solid understanding of regulated healthcare environments, including promotional versus nonpromotiona
