ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing technology company building sophisticated software systems and infrastructure at scale.

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with experience in YC-backed or Venture backed start-ups who can work across frontend and backend systems and take features from initial concept through production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build end-to-end product features using TypeScript, Python, and Go.

- Develop modern frontend applications and scalable backend services.

- Design and implement APIs, integrations, and data workflows.

- Work closely with Product and Design to translate requirements into intuitive experiences.

- Own features throughout the development lifecycle.

- Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Write well-tested, maintainable production code.

- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.

- Collaborate closely with other engineers in an on-site environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

- Strong TypeScript experience.

- Strong backend experience with Python and/or Go.

- Experience building production full-stack applications.

- Strong API and system design fundamentals.

- Experience working with modern frontend frameworks.

- Strong understanding of testing and software engineering best practices.

- Excellent communication and ownership.

- Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco.

NICE TO HAVE

- React or Next.js.

- PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

- Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.

- AI-powered products.

- Experience at a startup or scale-up.
