Job Description Summary Raymond James is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Front-End Developer with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and modern web development practices. This role will join the Developer Platform Engineering team, responsible for building and enhancing enterprise applications, internal developer platforms, self-service solutions, automation capabilities, and engineering productivity tools used across the Information Technology organization. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating intuitive user experiences, building scalable front-end architectures, and delivering high-quality software solutions that improve developer productivity and software delivery. This individual will work closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and internal customers to design and develop applications that accelerate adoption of engineering platforms, streamline development workflows, and provide visibility into software delivery, operational health, and key engineering metrics.

Job Description This position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location.

Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular and TypeScript.

• Design and build applications that support developer onboarding, CI/CD workflows, software delivery visibility, and platform self-service capabilities.

• Build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that provide a best-in-class user experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain internal developer platforms, self-service applications, dashboards, and engineering productivity tools that improve software delivery processes and developer experience.

• Integrate applications with REST APIs, cloud services, automation platforms, and enterprise systems.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to front-end standards, best practices, and reusable component libraries.

• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

• Work within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software in iterative releases.

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, maintainability, and performance.

Required Skills • 5+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular and TypeScript.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.

• Experience building responsive and cross-browser compatible applications.

• Experience developing and consuming modern RESTful APIs in enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and modern UI development practices.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Experience using Git-based source control systems.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills • Experience with Angular Material, AG-Grid, Chart.js, ECharts, or similar UI frameworks.

• Experience implementing Micro Frontend architectures.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience building internal developer portals, engineering productivity tools, self-service platforms, or DevOps-focused applications.

• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and full-stack application development.

• Experience developing enterprise-scale applications.

• Understanding of application performance optimization, accessibility, and security best practices.
