About this role

Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director, Project Management Office   (PMO)   is a critical leadership role within the newly defined Core Technology organization, responsible for driving disciplined execution across a complex portfolio of   enterprise-wide   technology initiatives. Core Technology represents the digital backbone of the company, designing, building, and operating the platforms and systems that power business operations, employee experience, and long ‑ term growth. This role will establish and lead a high ‑ performing Project Management Office that enables consistent delivery across Core Technology’s key pillars, including Finance Technology, Technical, Innovation & Supply Chain Technology, Infrastructure & Operations, and Shared Platforms. These domains collectively support critical capabilities such as financial systems, supply chain digitization, enterprise platforms, and global infrastructure, making delivery excellence essential to overall business performance.   

The leader will drive portfolio governance, planning, and execution disciplines that ensure technology programs are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to enterprise priorities. This includes enabling large ‑ scale programs such as digital core optimization, supply chain transformation, platform modernization, and AI ‑ enabled innovations to scale effectively across the enterprise. Success in this role requires strong partnership across Digital teams, Operating Units, and enabling functions to ensure alignment, transparency, and value realization. The role combines strategic portfolio leadership with operational rigor, helping Core Technology accelerate innovation while maintaining stability, security, and efficiency.  

Key responsibilities   

• Own enterprise ‑ level financial governance for the Core Technology portfolio, ensuring alignment between investment decisions and strategic business priorities across Finance Technology, TISC Technology, Infrastructure & Operations, and Shared Platforms  

• Lead portfolio ‑ wide investment prioritization and optimization, partnering with Finance , Transformation Office   and   Global   Digital   Network   leadership to balance run, grow, and transform investments while maximizing ROI and business value  

• Drive end ‑ to ‑ end value realization discipline, ensuring all technology initiatives have clearly defined financial outcomes, measurable benefits, and tracked realization against business cases  

• Oversee financial planning and forecasting processes for the Core Technology portfolio, enabling dynamic reallocation of funding based on performance insights, changing priorities, and emerging opportunities  

• Implement cost transparency and accountability mechanisms across technology domains, including visibility into unit costs (e.g., infrastructure, platforms, services) and consumption patterns  

• Establish and lead the Core Technology Project Management Office, defining governance frameworks, delivery standards, and operating rhythms aligned to enterprise priorities and Core Technology objectives  

• Implement disciplined portfolio governance to ensure delivery excellence, including “on time, on budget” execution and transparency across initiatives  

• Establish and track portfolio performance metrics aligned to Core Technology goals, including operational excellence, innovation acceleration, and digital core optimization  

• Enable consistent reporting and insights to executive stakeholders, supporting data ‑ driven decision ‑ making and investment prioritization  

• Drive adoption of modern delivery practices, including agile and product ‑ centric approaches, to improve speed, scalability, and adaptability  

• Cultivate   c ulture &   o rganizational   n arrative:   accountable for   driv ing   engagement, cultural initiatives, and strategic communications across the Core Tech organization , together with Core Technology Leadership team . Serve as the primary steward of the team’s story, crafting impactful narratives that connect both strategic   initiatives   and ongoing operations to broader enterprise goals for both internal staff and key business stakeholders.  

• Build and develop a high ‑ performing PMO team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across the Core Technology organization  

Qualifications & experience  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field;   Master’s   degree preferred  

• 12+ years of experience in program or portfolio management within large ‑ scale technology or digital organizations  

• Proven experience leading PMO or portfolio management functions supporting enterprise technology domains such as infrastructure, enterprise platforms, financial systems, or supply chain technology  

• Strong understanding of end ‑ to ‑ end technology operations, including application development, cloud platforms, infrastructure services, and enterprise systems  

• Experience managing complex portfolios with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and global delivery teams  

• Demonstrated ability to drive disciplined delivery, including governance, financial oversight, and benefits realization  

• Strong knowledge of digital, data, and AI ‑ enabled capabilities and how they translate into operational and business outcomes  

• Experience implementing agile, hybrid, or product ‑ centric delivery models in enterprise environments  

• Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership and cross ‑ functional teams  

• High level of data literacy with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive data ‑ informed decision ‑ making
