Senior Corporate Process Safety Engineer Huntsman is seeking a Senior Corporate Process Safety Engineer supporting the Corporate EHS Division located in The Woodlands, Texas . This position will report to the Americas Safety Manager .

Job Scope The Senior Corporate Process Safety Engineer is responsible for supporting process safety programs across Huntsman manufacturing sites throughout the Americas region and, when required, globally. This role provides technical leadership in process safety studies, risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process safety performance and culture across the organization.

In summary, as the Senior Corporate Process Safety Engineer, you will: • Provide technical support for process safety studies, including Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments. • Lead and participate in process safety incident investigations and audits as required. • Develop and deliver training on process safety methodologies and best practices. • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate process safety procedures, standards, and metrics. • Mentor team members and facilitate cross-functional process safety networks. • Represent Huntsman in external industry forums, benchmarking activities, and professional associations. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process safety performance and culture across the Americas region. • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and EHS teams to identify and mitigate process safety risks.

Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. • 5+ years of experience in chemical engineering, process engineering, process/equipment design, manufacturing operations, or process safety. • Demonstrated experience leading or facilitating PHA, LOPA, and SIL Target Assessment studies. • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications • Additional expertise in SIL design, pressure relief sizing, dispersion modeling, fire risk assessment, human factors assessment, facility siting, or quantitative risk assessment (QRA). • Experience utilizing Apollo, HFACS, or similar incident investigation methodologies. • Proficiency with process engineering software, including fluid flow and physical property modeling applications. • Experience supporting corporate or multi-site process safety programs. • Participation in industry forums, benchmarking groups, or professional engineering associations.

Working Environment • Office-based role with regular interaction with manufacturing and operational environments. • Travel up to 50% throughout the Americas region, including occasional travel to Canada, Mexico, and South America. • May require periodic visits to chemical manufacturing facilities and participation in field assessments and audits. • Ability to work across multiple locations, functions, and time zones.
