THE SECURITY TEAM

Examples of key problems the team is working on

- You're securing the frontier of AI. The model weights training on our infrastructure are the most valuable and most targeted artifacts in technology, and we're standing up the compute to hold them faster than anyone ever has. A breach isn't a leak, it's the frontier walking out the door.

- Build the entire security program from scratch. Most leaders inherit someone else's system and spend a career patching it. Here you own it end to end, bare metal to boardroom, as we scale across continents.

- Your threat surface is measured in gigawatts. The customers running on our infrastructure are building the most consequential technology in human history, and being responsible for the physical and logical security of that work makes everything else feel small.

ROLE SCOPE

- Own accountability for every security system, process, and policy at your site, serving as the single leader responsible for its overall security posture.

- Act as the on-site escalation point for any issue in which security is a stakeholder, whether it originates in physical security, IT, construction, operations, or a customer-facing concern.

- Ensure the guard force, access control, and camera systems on-site are operating as designed, holding contracted vendors accountable to policy and SLA without running their shift-level operations yourself.

- Drive incident response at the site from first notification through resolution and after-action reporting, pulling in the right internal teams and vendors as the situation demands.

- Enforce site security policy and standards, identifying gaps between what's documented and what's actually happening on the ground, and driving corrective action to close them.

- Represent security in site-level planning and decision-making, ensuring security requirements are accounted for in construction, deployment, and operational changes at your site.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- You've led site-level security at a data center, critical infrastructure facility, or other high-security site, owning the posture rather than executing a single function within it.

- You've been the go-to escalation point for a facility, the person other teams call first when something security-relevant goes wrong, regardless of which team actually owns the fix.

- You've held guard, access control, and camera vendors accountable to policy and SLA from a leadership seat, without needing to run their day-to-day operations yourself.

- You've driven a security incident to resolution at the site level, coordinating across internal teams and external vendors rather than handling it alone.

- You can read a security policy, spot where the reality on the ground doesn't match it, and get it fixed.

- You communicate clearly and quickly under pressure, because a security event at 2am needs a decision, not a meeting.
