We are seeking Scientist, Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Biologics to join IQVIA Laboratories at Ithaca, NY. If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.   Job Summary: As a Scientist, Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Biologics, you will leverage your analytical skills and laboratory experience to support the development and implementation of biomarker and biotherapeutic assays. You will contribute to scientific knowledge, operational excellence, and high-quality bioanalytical project delivery.   What You'll Be Doing: • Validate and apply new bioanalytical approaches for liquid chromatography mass spectrometry biomarker and biotherapeutic assays • Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout all laboratory processes • Participate in method development, validation, and sample analysis with a focus on liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry • Manage projects, maintain documentation, and ensure the integrity of study data • Strengthen chromatographic and mass spectrometric techniques and contribute to scientific discussions • Coordinate with Laboratory Operations for sample management and interface with clients on scientific objectives • Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to Good Laboratory Practice requirements • Utilize LIMS for sample scheduling and bioanalytical data management  

What We Are Looking For: • High School diploma with 5 years’ relevant lab experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field • 5 years’ relevant lab experience • Proficiency in routine laboratory procedures and wet-laboratory sample extraction • Experience supporting liquid chromatography mass spectrometry biomarker and biotherapeutic assays • Experience with method development, validation, sample analysis, and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry • Ability to utilize LIMS for sample scheduling and bioanalytical data management • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree  

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role: • Extensive experience in laboratory procedures, method development, and validation methodology • Strong understanding of liquid chromatography mass spectrometry biologics services and the ability to contribute scientifically to method development • Ability to maintain clear and efficient method development documentation and troubleshoot laboratory equipment • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work within set objectives and timelines • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $46,200.00 - $96,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
