As a key member of our Formulation Science team in Cambridge, MA, you will play a vital role in developing drug product formulations that support projects from discovery through late-stage development. Your core responsibilities will include designing and executing studies, performing in-process testing, and working with cross-functional partners to ensure our drug candidates are safe, stable, and effective.

Responsibilities: This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: • Design, prepare and test drug product formulations at bench scale to assess stability, compatibility and performance.

• Develop and execute stability studies and stress tests; analyze results and recommend formulation strategies.

• Characterize physicochemical properties using analytical methods such as particle size, pH, viscosity, single-particle measurements, chromatography, and thermal analysis.

• Collaborate with analytical, process development, regulatory and quality teams to support program decisions and documentation.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records, prepare study reports, and present data to project teams.

• Maintain the drug product laboratory space in an organized and in a safe manner

• Troubleshoot experiments, improve methods, and contribute to standard operating procedures.

Work arrangement: This role is on-site and based at Cambridgepark Drive Massachusetts in the United States. You will be expected to work on-site five days a week to interact with team members, execute experiments, train colleagues, collaborate with lab teams, and complete documentation.

Basic Qualifications: We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: • BS, MS or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related field. BS + 5 years of experience, MS 3+ years of experience, PHD with 0+ years of experience.

• Hands-on laboratory experience preparing and evaluating formulations for small molecules or biologics.

• Experience with stability study design and data interpretation.

• Practical skills with analytical techniques such as HPLC, particle sizing, pH/viscosity measurement, and thermal analysis.

• Strong laboratory documentation practices and experience using electronic or paper laboratory notebooks.

• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: • MS or PhD in formulation science, pharmaceutics, or related discipline.

• Experience with biologic formulations, lyophilization, or controlled-release systems.

• Familiarity with process development, scale-up considerations and manufacturing hand- offs.

• Strong sense of ownership and personal responsibility, with experience in coordinating with team members to ensure tasks are on track and goals are met successfully.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a patient, thoughtful, and approachable demeanor that fosters a positive and highly collaborative team environment.

• Knowledge of regulatory expectations for formulation development and drug product stability.

• Experience with DOE (design of experiments) and statistical analysis for formulation optimization.

• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry environments.

The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
