The work The SAP Supplier Portal Functional Consultant / SME l will play a critical role in optimizing and supporting supplier management processes within a complex SAP ecosystem. As the subject matter expert, you will guide the implementation, enhancement, and sustainment of supplier portal solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP Ariba Supplier Management, SAP Retail, and SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design efficient workflows, and troubleshoot issues related to supplier onboarding, data management, compliance, and overall supplier lifecycle operations. Success in this role requires deep functional knowledge of supplier management processes, the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, and strong communication skills to support end‑users and align solutions to organizational objectives. Experience leading integrations, supporting change management, and managing large-scale data processes will be instrumental.

Key responsibilities: • Serve as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Supplier Portal, providing expertise across SAP Ariba Supplier Management, SAP Retail, and SAP S/4HANA • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable supplier portal solutions • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of supplier management processes within SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA • Troubleshoot issues, support end‑users, and deliver training to ensure optimal supplier portal usage • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier collaboration, portal functionality, and process efficiency • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data standards, and industry best practices in supplier management • Partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope • Prepare and maintain documentation related to supplier portal processes, configurations, workflows, and enhancements

Here’s what you need:

• 7+ years of SAP experience

• Experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Management, SAP Retail, and SAP S/4HANA

• Strong understanding of supplier lifecycle management, procurement processes, and digital transformation initiatives

• Background in business analysis, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and process documentation

• Experience leading system integrations, performing data migrations, and supporting change management initiatives

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP implementation projects in large enterprise environments • Familiarity with testing methodologies and end‑user enablement strategies • Relevant SAP or supplier management certifications

Eligibility Requirements:

• US Citizenship required • Ability to obtain a government Public Trust Clearance

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $116,900 — $243,100 USD
