RN Coordinator, Fetal Center

Overview:

  1.0FTE, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, full-time benefits eligible.

  Job Description Summary:

  Ensures care continuity for patients and families and collaborates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of all program components.   Job Description:

  Essential Functions: • Develops, implements, and enhances special projects promoting inpatient/outpatient continuity of care and parent engagement. • Ensures the provision of high quality, individualized, comprehensive, cost effective patient across the continuum. • Initiates, tracks, analyzes, and manages all program quality improvement and research projects, program goals and objectives. • Coordinates functions with interdisciplinary medical care, liaison functions with patient, family, medical staff, and referring physicians. • Develops educational materials and programs for patients, nursing and ancillary staff, and physicians. • Develops clinical protocols, policies, and procedures including community education and public relations.

Education Requirement: • Bachelor's Degree, required. • Masters Degree in Nursing, preferred.

Licensure Requirement: Registered nurse in the State of Ohio, required.

Skills: • Effective customer service skills. • Good multiplatform communication skills (oral, written, presentation). • Ability to assist in conflict resolution. • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills required for interaction with contacts required.

Experience: Three years of registered nurse experience, required.
