Loews Kansas City Hotel offers opportunities at an 800-room hotel connected to the Kansas City Convention Center. Team members support 60,000 square feet of event space, dining outlets, an indoor lap pool and a prime downtown location near Power & Light, T-Mobile Center and the Streetcar.

What We’re Looking For The Restaurant Server provides exceptional table service by delivering food and beverages, anticipating guest needs, and creating a warm and memorable dining experience. This role contributes directly to the restaurant’s atmosphere, guest satisfaction, and overall success.

Who You Are • Service-focused professional with strong communication skills • Confident in menu knowledge and offering thoughtful recommendations • Detail-oriented and organized during busy service periods • Personable, warm, and committed to elevating the guest experience • Collaborative teammate with a positive, solutions-focused mindset • Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.

What You Will Do • Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence • Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences • Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit • Process payments accurately using POS systems • Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations • Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar • Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked • Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties • Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed • Regular attendance in conformance with standards • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Include: Required : • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience • Strong guest service and communication skills • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed

Preferred : • Experience with POS systems • High School Diploma or equivalent
